Our collection of english
regional food recipes features many of the better known english
recipes such as Yorkshire Pudding or Scones but also dives
deeper into the regions, unearthing recipes covering a wide
range from Melton Mowbray Pork Pie to the Bedfordshire Clanger
or Gloucester Cheese and Ale.
Many recipes go back hundreds of years
and almost all evolved around the local produce of the
area. The regions are for the most part "official" regions
but food does not always follow offically drawn line so
you will find some overlap from place to place. Enjoy trying and testing these recipes
