1. Prepare the dumbling mix:
A. Mix all ingredients together to form a stiff
dough.
B. Form into as many dumblings as required.
2. Peel, core and chop the cooking apples
3. In a saucepan, gently stew the apples and sugar
in a little water.
4. Shape the suet crust pastry in your hand into
4 small dumplings.
5. Add the dumplings to the apple and continue
to simmer until the dumplings are cooked through
