Directions:
Make custard as directed on the packet
and set aside to cool, stirring from time to time to prevent
skin from forming on the custard.
While cooling make the jelly and set
aside to cool for 30 minutes.
Pour the jelly over the sponge fingers
arranged in the bottom of the trifle bowl and add about half
of the strawberries to the mixture. Optionally, before pouring
in the jelly, soak the sponge fingers in Cream Sherry.
Refrigerate until firm then pour the cooled custard over
the top.
Immediately prior to serving make up
the Dream Topping with the 4 oz of milk and swirl over the
top. Decorate with remaining strawberries and either crumble
the flake on top or garnish with large "logs" of
flake.
